Beezy is a spelling practice app for children, built and operated by Metronome Software. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Who This Policy Applies To
Beezy is designed for use by children, often alongside a parent or guardian. This policy applies to all users of the Beezy app and website, including children under 13.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect the information you provide — such as a display name and email address (typically a parent’s email for child accounts).
App usage data. We collect data about how the app is used — word lists practiced, session length, progress, and in-app activity — to power the app’s core features and personalised practice sessions.
Device and log data. We automatically collect device information such as device model, operating system version, IP address, and crash logs when errors occur. This is used to diagnose and fix problems.
Purchase information. If you subscribe, purchase details are processed through Apple’s App Store and RevenueCat. We do not store payment card details.
Push notification tokens. If you allow notifications, we store a device token to send practice reminders. You can disable this at any time in your device settings.
Children’s Privacy
Beezy is directed at children and we take their privacy seriously.
- We do not sell children’s personal information to third parties.
- We do not use children’s data for targeted advertising.
- We collect only the information necessary to operate the app.
- Parents and guardians may request to review or delete their child’s data at any time by contacting us at support@prasannag.com.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the Beezy app and its features
- Personalise practice sessions based on progress
- Send practice reminders via push notification (if enabled)
- Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
- Understand how the app is used so we can improve it
- Process subscriptions and manage billing
- Send occasional emails about new features or offers (parents/guardians only, if an email address was provided)

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal reasons.

You may contact us at any time to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you or your child
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
